The founder (King Abdulaziz) university aims at being one of the international known universities in its educational, research and service programs, and in turn this will be reflected on graduates.
In this regard, the optimal means of development and tracing the grand countries is to utilize from their methods in the university education through concentration on the electronic education, nevertheless, the university management discovers that providing the best educational services the support in presenting full integrated scientific subject easily and diligence will no doubt raise the performance level inside the lectures halls, labs and workshops.
Also major amounts from the university budget were allocated during the past few years in order the lectures halls, labs and workshops will go with the international standards, the most modern buildings allocated for lectures halls are equipped with new and modern electronic instruments including the displays and electronic boards, new convenient chairs for the university students, modernization involves the lectures halls at old buildings that were completely maintained, equipped with chairs, displays and electronic boards.
A number of labs and workshops was entered in the specialized scientific sections, equipped with related suitable tables chairs, in addition they are provided with water, electricity, gas, air-conditioning and the most modern language labs, and others for computers along with instruments and relevant specialized programs.
The educational services general directorate, under the university top management, concentrates on modernizing and maintaining most of the labs of the faculty of engineering, faculty astronomy and dry places agriculture, biology and biochemistry sections at the faculty of science, marine biology labs at Abhor, also this modernizing and maintenance involve all the lab equipments including the tables, chairs, water supply, electricity, gas, gas withdrawal instruments until those labs become of high efficiency to provide students with the most modern technology, we are still getting rid of the old scientific instruments that transferred to the reverse engineering unit which later established in coordination with the faculty of engineering to train this faculty students.
